The running store of Haarlem — at the Houtplein
A few minutes from the Grote Markt, right beside the Haarlemmerhout, you will find DailyRun: an independent running specialist with an indoor test track, a free gait analysis and advice from people who run themselves.
For runners from across Zuid-Kennemerland
We are not a chain and not a franchise. Everyone on the team runs, from a first 5K to marathons and trail. Whether you come from the centre, Heemstede, Bloemendaal or Overveen, you are here in minutes.
The Haarlemmerhout is the city's most-run loop and starts at our door; the dunes and the beach at Zandvoort are a short ride west. Whatever you train on, we have probably run it.

Gait analysis in Haarlem — on a real track, not a treadmill
Free and with no obligation to buy. Most running stores in and around Haarlem give you the analysis free only if you buy your shoes there. Ours is free either way.
You run on a track rather than a treadmill, across two surfaces, one soft and one hard, because you do not land the same way on a forest path as on asphalt.
1. Walk in, or book ahead
You are welcome during opening hours without an appointment. Book online if you would rather have a slot reserved. Bring your current running shoes if you still have them — the wear pattern on the soles is often the fastest way for us to understand how you run.
2. We look at it together
You run on both surfaces while fixed high-speed cameras record you. We watch the footage back with you, slowed down, and explain what we see in plain language rather than jargon.
3. You try and compare
Only then do the shoes come out, and you run in them on the same track. The whole visit takes about 30 to 45 minutes. Road, trail, carbon race shoes and children's spikes are all in stock, so you take them home today.

How to get here
Houtplein 40 is on the southern edge of the centre, where the Houtplein meets the Haarlemmerhout. Parkeergarage Houtplein is immediately next door, and Haarlem station is about ten minutes on foot.
We also host social runs from the store each month and supply the club kit for Haarlem Atletiek. If you are new to the city and looking for people to run with, come and ask — that is often the better first step.
