The running store for Amsterdam — on the edge of the Amsterdamse Bos
Ten minutes from Amsterdam-Zuid, where the Amsterdamse Bos begins, you will find DailyRun: an independent running specialist with its own indoor track, a free gait analysis and advice from people who run themselves.
Why runners from Amsterdam come to us
We are not a chain and not a franchise. Everyone behind the counter runs, and the advice you get is the advice we would want ourselves. No script, just a shoe that fits your foot, your goal and the surface you run on.
The forest is right outside the door, so you can test your new shoes where you will actually use them.

Gait analysis in Amsterdam — on a real track, not a treadmill
Free and with no obligation to buy. A treadmill belt pulls your foot backwards and changes your stride; our track does not. It has two surfaces, one soft and one hard, because you do not land the same way on a forest path as on asphalt.
1. Walk in, or book ahead
You are welcome during opening hours without an appointment. Book online if you would rather be sure someone is free the moment you arrive. Bring your current running shoes if you still have them — the wear on the soles tells us a great deal.
2. We look at it together
You run on both surfaces while fixed high-speed cameras record you. We watch the footage back with you, slowed down, and explain what we see in plain language: how you land, how your ankle rolls, how even your stride is.
3. You try and compare
Only then do the shoes come out, and you run in them on the same track so you can feel the difference instead of taking our word for it. The whole visit takes about 30 to 45 minutes. Everything is in stock, so you take your shoes home the same day.

How to get here
Amsterdamseweg 507 sits on the boundary between Amsterdam and Amstelveen, right where the Amsterdamse Bos starts. Coming from Amsterdam-Zuid, De Pijp or Buitenveldert you are here in roughly ten minutes. There is free parking in front of the store and the A9 is close by.
This store was previously Runnersworld Amsterdamse Bos. Same location, same team, now independent under our own name.
Frequently asked questions
Are you a running store in Amsterdam?
Our store is just across the city boundary in Amstelveen, on the edge of the Amsterdamse Bos. For runners from Amsterdam-Zuid, Buitenveldert and De Pijp it is the nearest running specialist, about ten minutes away, with free parking at the door.
Does a gait analysis cost anything?
No. It is free and completely without obligation. Unlike most stores we do not make it conditional on buying your shoes here. If you leave with nothing, you still know what your feet do and what to look for.

Yes, the entire team does. Many of our customers from Amsterdam-Zuid and Amstelveen are international, and nothing about the appointment changes if you prefer English.
